Metronidazole: Metronidzole (Flagyl) often does this. Tell the doctor or clinic where the treatment was prescribed. You may need to take the drug over several days, instead of the single large dose (2 grams). And anyway, it's now known the single dose treatment often doesn't work against trich. An alternative is tinidazole (Tindamax). Discuss with your doctor. Good luck.
