Antibiotic eye drops: There may be an infection of the lining of the eye, and your pediatrician may prescribe antibiotic drops.
Other measures include nasal saline drops to relieve congestion and gentle massage of the area just beneath the eye. Watch for signs of swelling, redness and fever.
