A member asked:

Unlikely: The strains of HPV that cause warts are spread by skin to skin contact. In limited manner they may anchor to clothing & be carried to a new site on the same person or in close quarters contact to others. However, these germs are not as hardy in the environment as staph or strep that pass easily on simple surface contact. I would not arm wrestle anyone with obvious warts.
