Will pleural effusion fluid caused by dvt wear-off naturally when dvt is treated or should the fluid be drained out? tests done on the sample of the fluid show that the fluid has no infections. the fluid causes discomfort and pain. please advise.

Respiratory distress: If the fluid is not causing respiratory problems, the fluid accumulation may be followed clinically and by imaging. If there is a fever, infection should be considered again.
