Easy bruising: In your age group easy bruisability is common on the forearms and top of the hands where the skin has become very thin with aging. Taking aspirin, Advil type medications and corticosteroids increase skin bruisability. On the other hand , bleeding from the gums, nose, into urine,etc usually denotes a serious problem.
