I just started tri sprintec lo. im on the second week of the birth control pack. i noticed a very small amount of brown and pink spotting. is the birth control causing it? i took the pill a hour later than usual too. its a combo pill. thanks

BCP "s: Combination oral bcp use with low dose hormonal components may result from even brief deviations in punctual taking of the active pills. Make certain to take your active pills within the hour of the prior day's active pill, and if the brown/pin discharge does not stop, discontinue your bcp's, wait five days, and start a new pack. Change type of bcp if this continues.
