Is endocarditis contagious? my daughter has it from being a needle user

Endocarditits: Endocarditis itself is not contagious. However, some bacteria that cause endocarditis -- e.g. staph, especially if methicillin resistant (MRSA) -- can potentially be a problem for people in the same household.
