My 2 yr old son woke up with a rash on the back of his neck and stomach this morning. following 3 days of vomiting and diarrhoea. roseola? and what can i do, do we need to do to dr?

Common pattern: Numerous enteroviruses can routinely cause this pattern. It is not a pattern roseola would normally follow.In roseola you commonly see 3-7 days of isolated high (39.5-40) fever which subsides as the rash appears.

Hydration : Keep your son well hydrated and monitor for fever. Viral rashes often are associated with other symptoms. If there is a fever, please see 6our Physician.
