How long is it supposed to it take for liver enzymes to normalize after obstaining from alcohol?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on the : Extent of damage to the liver. Acute effects of alcohol usually dissipate in about two weeks, and almost completely in three months. However, if liver damage has resulted in fibrosis and early cirrhosis, the damage may not be reversible.
