It exists: Idiopathic intracranial hypertension or pseudotumor cerebri is a know condition that exists and is diagnosed typically in younger women who have no other known cause of increased intracranial pressure and no other type of mass or other cause for obstruction. The condition usually effects younger women and is typically controlled by use of spinal tap and or medications such as diamox.
