Tonsillitis: Gargle with dilute salt water. 1/2 tsp in 8 oz. of luke warm water. Do not smoke. No alcohol including mouthwashes. Anesthetic lozenges. Best to get antibiotics. Penicillin, augmenting, clindamycin
