Whats the difference between a bakers cyst & a myxoid tumor behind the knee? could a myxoid tumor be misdiagnosed as a bakers cyst? if a myxoids background is composed of clear, mucoid substance- couldnt it be confused with one on an ultrasound?

Cyst: If that is the case, yes a Baker's cyst could be misdiagnosed versus myxoid cyst. However, myxoid cysts are typically identified near the nail of the finger or toes.
