A member asked:

Can i buy light sleeping aid at the drugstore? what are some?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Benadryl (diphenhydramine): The most common sleep aid available over the counter is diphenhydramine, which is what's in benadryl. It's also the active ingredient in most night-time sleep aids (tylenol (acetaminophen) (acetaminophen) pm, advil pm, etc.). To save money, i would just buy generic benadryl, unless you specifically need the tylenol (acetaminophen) or advil. 25 mg is what's in 1 tab/cap of benadryl, but you can half that if 1 is too much.
