"Spotting" ?'s: At age 35 and above, follicles require more stimulation to mature, and occasionally, two follicles are simultaneously released. The estrogen drop prior to ovulation is accentuated leading to some withdrawal bleeding from the thicker uterine lining. Ask your gyn physician about low does oral bcp's (unless there is a contraindication). It might make the next ten years much easier.
