Can a woman who became sexually active at or after 30 clear a hpv infection like a younger woman does? normal paps in the past. thank you

Some basics: The strains of HPV will usually clear over 2 years in anyone with a competent immune system (at any age). Primary clearing does not mean they will not stick around & resurface in the future or that they will not trigger cervical cancer years or decades later.

Clearing: While it can clear i does not mean that it can not recur or causes issue later in life. Talk to your GYN
