A member asked:

Until what age is it okay/proper for a son/daughter to co-sleep/ sleep beside a parent? why and why not? thanks

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Asked/answered: A parents primary role is teaching their child to be a successful individual & foster self worth. That includes teaching them to toilet, clean, dress, feed, themselves. It includes letting them learn they can go by themselves on the bus like the other kids rather than be chauffeured everywhere. Self worth/confidence is built one encounter at a time.Sleeping alone is part of this.
