A member asked:

What causes back of knee lymph nodes to swell?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Is it nodes?: Nodes work to sift through debris/germs that enter the body serum outside the main blood vessels. Any skin irritation/infection/ bug bites below the knees could trigger node activity. There are also things called Baker cysts that arise in that location as offshoots of the knees cushioning fluid.
