Possible but low: Chance of heterosexual HIV transmission is generally low as demonstrated in many studies. Female-to-male transmission is 0.04% per act or, in theory, about 4 cases of HIV transmission per every 10,000 acts of vaginal sex with a woman who is HIV positive.

Low: Although there is no such thing as 100 percent the risk would be very low. Higher risk exposure associated with per cutaneous sticks. Contact with mucous membranes and/or non-intact skin with blood , tissue, or body fluids from infected individual.
