Over the past few months i have been experiencing lighter than normal periods. usually i have a very heavy flow. now it is light and hardly have to change as much. is this normal? i just turned 27 in may. i am on contraceptives.

Light flow: Change in period flow can be for multiple reasons. Although you are on BCP pregnancy could be one. Lighter flow is usually a sign of less development of endometrium during cycle. Weight change, change in pill, other hormone changes could be a factor.
