Wheat: Celiac disease is basically a sensitivity to wheat manifested by bowel symptoms and intestinal malabsorption. People may not be truly sensitive to gluten but still can be intolerant of it and have intestinal bloating and bowel symptoms without malabsorption. If you have no bowel issues your prognosis is good. People on gluten free diet can't eat rye either.
