A member asked:

I wash my eyes with high pressure water of tap everyday. can it make me blind? i can see clearly at the moment. will i be ok in future also?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Eye washing: I don't think it's advisable or necessary to wash your eyes in that manner, although I doubt the pressure in the tap water is exceedingly high. Nevertheless there is no need to squirt tap water directly into your eyes especially with force. I wouldn't worry about going blind, but more about irritating your eyes with mild trauma and nonsterile water.
