I got a mist chemical in my eyes. bottle said flush eyes for 15 min then call eye dr. i flushed my eyes for 15 min in my kitchen sink with tap water. hours later i have bad pressure in between eyes/behind nose. my husband said u r never to use tap?

Get it out of eyes: You only get one pair of eyes. If there is a reactive substance in there, water, and lots of it, is the correct answer. If you live with municipal service, all water is "tap" water. No one keeps large quantity of balanced irrigantion solution around at home. If EMS came to find you and you needed your eyes irrigated, they would have used tap water, then maybe balanced solution.
