A member asked:

How do i help a depressed person?

Listening/referring: To listen and demonstrate that you care are good tools to refer that person to the appropriate health care specialist. Depression is a complex diagnose and to help, in a deep manner, is also complex. The best you can do other that referring is to listen and create a trust relationship so the other person can actually tell you if something is going out of his hands.
