Vertigo: Vertigo is a spinning type of dizziness provoked by movements of the head and body. It is an inner ear disorder treated with meclizine and/or certain manipulations of your head by an Otolaryngologist. Lightheadedness is usually is worse in the standing position and relieved by lying down. Low blood pressure, cardiac arrhythmias and anemia are common causes.
