Tonsil stones : Most of the times, tonsil stones are harmless but may cause discomfort and also can become a breeding ground for bacteria. Unless your tonsils are swollen, hurt or you get symptoms like fever, you may want to wait a couple of days since many adult patients does not require antibiotics nor further treatment.
