Indirectly/possibly: Any disorder of your heart that impairs its ability to work as an effective pump will eventually result in a back pressure on the veins. This is generally referred to as heart failure & is marked by fluid retention in the gravity influenced portions of your body. Standing puts more pressure on your legs than it does above the level of the heart so fluid retention can make feet/legs swell.
