It happens: Some cite a potential one year delay in return to baseline fertility after removal of a hormonal IUD. Were it just the pill it would be at baseline sooner. Desired pregnancy takes an average of 6 mo when fertility is at baseline. A consultation with a fertility center may be beneficial if a year passes without success.

Infertility ?'s: With regular menstruation, and unprotected sex, first make sure your partner has a normal semen analysis. If that is normal (read by a urologist) , ask your gyn about a hysterosalpingogram (HSG), which can determine if your tubes are blocked. HSG is a simple test putting sterile saline into your tubes. The most common cause statistically for infertility is blocked tubes.

It takes 2 to tangle: And so with pregnancy, the couple need to be checked, it can still be a male factor, a fertility specialist would sort it out, both female and male factors. Agree with Dr F and B. Good luck
