Probable tendonitis: or subclinical sprain. Requires exam and direct observation. These conditions may require 7-10 days of anti-inflammatory medical and a wrist splint. I always suggest "light splinting": 1- cover wrist with a terrycloth tennis wrist towel 2- cover the tennis towel with a pull on neoprene tubular wrist support , wearing it OVER the tennis wrist wrap and continue cataflam and call for a re-check.
