Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Wish you good health!

Hand Veins: Hand veins with enlarge and decrease in size for many reasons including levels of hydration, hormones, cold/heat exposure and even in response to stress such as lifting heavy objects. If you lift your hands above your heart the veins will lessen in size and if you place them below your heart they will increase. I do not know why you are having pain in your veins.
