Anxiety vs. bipolar: Sleep hygiene is the first wave: avoid caffeine, avoid TV or phone in bed (keep electronics out of the bedroom), dim lights at night, blackout curtains, and earplugs. Eat a balanced diet, drink water and exercise 20-30 min daily. Try meditation. In terms of supplements, magnesium and melatonin are ones that are pretty safe to use as written on the bottle. A psychiatrist would be helpful.
