Unrelated: Sore throat can be an isolated problem , salt water gargles and pain killers, unless contraindicated, can help, if no improvement see your doctor. As for the absent period and negative pregnancy test: not uncommon, can be due to several causes , keep using the same contraceptive if still not wishing to become pregnant, if period remains absent, see your doctor, good luck
