Exam!: You need to be examined at a clinic in case there's an infection that needs treatment. Aloe vera is a commonly used topical gel for sunburn relief. Your doctor may prescribe oral corticosteroids to help stop inflammation. Silver sulfadiazine cream is a prescription drug which may also be used for severe sunburns. Drink a lot of nonalcoholic fluids to help prevent dehydration. I wish you well!
