I have had the mirena coil for 7 years had it taken out this week. had 6 months of old brown bleeding few days a month since january. clear smear test?

Your question: is unclear. The bleeding you describe sounds like normal cyclic/period bleeding. This would be expected after removal of the Mirena. If cycles are not staying regular, talk to your doctor about therapy to keep your cycle regular at least as often as every 90 days, at a minimum. This is done to prevent a build up of the uterine lining, avoiding abnormal cells/uterine cancer.
