Depends: There are several screening tests that can be used and they usually involve a series of direct questions to parents and care givers as well as direct interactions and observations of the patient. After the screening is scored the likelihood of the patient having the disorder is determined. The screening may take some time to be scored and is usually done after the patient has left.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
