5 percent young : Alzheimer's is not just a disease of older people. Younger-onset or early-onset Alzheimer's affects people who are younger than age 65. About 5 percent of the more than 5 million Americans with Alzheimer’s have younger onset. So approximately 200,000 people have early onset. I wish you well with your health!
