NGU (an STD): You have nongonococcal urethritis (NGU). It's an STD even though the tests so far are negative. Of all urethritis cases, only a third are gonorrhea or chlamydia. You still need treatment with doxycycline or azithromycin, and your sex partner(s) need treatment. If your doctor or clinic doesn't seem to understand this, find someone who does -- e.g. Planned Parenthood or local health dept.
