A member asked:

I have a hole in my gum. it doesn't hurt or bleed, it's just a clean hole. the inside is the same colour as the rest of my gum. the hole is on my gum where my wisdom teeth would grow out. i haven't had my wisdoms removed yet. is it worth worrying?

Hole in gum: 2 most likely causes are 1 Partial impaction of wisdom tooth and/or infected adjacent tooth. You need to be examined by a Dentist and have appropriate imaging done. You probably will need referral to specialist Oral Surgeon and/or specialist Endodontist. Delay is counter-productive.
