Blood clot: The blood clot may have become dislodged. Bite on sterile gauze for 15 minutes and avoid rinsing or disturbing the new clot. See your surgeon if it continues.

Bleeding gums: Some oozing of blood may occur the first day after wisdom tooth extraction and is very common. Don't rinse your mouth, place a gauze on your bleeding gum and bite on it for around 10-15 minutes. It should stop the bleeding. Repeat as needed.
