I had surgery on my leg to relieve a large hematoma and now get red, splotchy skin in the area when exposed to sun. why? thank you.

Vasculature: If it was a large hematoma and you needed the area incised and drained. This can change the vascular spupply to that area. So when you go out in the sun the area turns more red.
