Yes and no: Yes, there is no significant loss of sensitivity in detection of suspicious findings vs. a full MRI evaluation, but there is some loss of specificity. It is kind of analogous to screening mammography vs. diagnostic mammography. If an abnormality is detected on Fast MRI, a complete MRI may be necessary for a full work up.
