A member asked:

Was wondering how much sun time do you need to get skin cancer?

No distinct answer: For example, people with very dark skin can spend their entire lives in the sun without getting cancer whereas some who have a very rare skin condition will get skin cancer with no or minimal sun exposure. For most light skinned people, minimizing your facial exposure and covering your other areas with clothes or sun block when expecting long exposure is a good idea.

Depends on genes.: The more sun the more likely you are to get skin cancer.
