A member asked:

14yr old daughter. server headache, vomiting, dizzy, blurred vision. had her at doctor this afternoon who prescribed migral which provided some relief to pain but now nausea is worse. should we take her in to emergency?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

To what end ?: Nausea is something that accompanies migraines & other conditions. If the doc examined her & found no reason to suspect anything more I doubt an emergency room doc would do much different. If she has not tolerated fluids to the point she is dehydrated it might be reasonable to seek urgent care/IV fluids. Nausea meds might be something you could get called in by her doc.
