Maybe/maybe not: The symptoms of either disease can vary in intensity from almost nothing to disabling pain. Some persons can carry & pass either & not know they have it. If you are sexually active it is reasonable to get screening for both done every 6 months or so depending on your activities. Screening tests for both can be done on urine specimens if requested. It does not show on a routine urinalysis.
