What does an ultra sound of the stomach show?

Abdomen?: An abdominal us is frequently done to check for gallstones, liver size and appearance (including cysts and masses), bile duct size, appearance of the pancreas, aortic aneurysm, kidney size and condition (stones, blockage, tumor, cyst), presence of fluid in abdomen. Sometimes doppler studies will be done to evaluate blood flow to various organs. Why do you ask?
