Moving stuff: The sounds come from your guts (stomach, small intestine and large intestine [aka colon]), moving food, liquid and air through the system.

Think about it: Every time you swallow any food you capture a bit of air in the process. The stomach is a muscular organ that squeezes and churn the food to prepare it for further processing. Any time you put air into a tube and move it around it will trigger gurgling, which is what digestion does.
