Yes, but............: You will most likely gain weight. Nonetheless, you should not be on a diet, but a lifestyle! I have been a low carb diet since 1994. I have lost 40 lbs, have normal blood pressure, and the best lipid profile in my life. During holidays, i gain some weight, but I am human. I tighten up after.. So maybe I am "off" 20 days a year. I do gain weight, but strict adherence afterwords! weight loss!
