Mittelschmerz: Mittelschmerz is ovulation pain. It can last a few day or longer. Things to do: heating pad, medicines like ibuprofen/naproxen.

Cramps: Some women cramp when they ovulate. The estrogen level can drop a bit and trick the uterus into thinking you are having a period.
