Muscular spasm: Assuming that you have seen an orthopedic specialist,this"sounds" like involuntary neck muscle spasm. Multiple causes: stress, tension, anxiety, cervical arthritis or cervical bone spur, old neck injury. You will need anti inflammatory medicine and medication for musucular spasm. Please contact your local orthopedic expert.
