A member asked:

Will a pregnancy test be accurate 14 days post intercourse? irregular periods

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: If conception occurs it must move to the uterus & attach. The mass of cells must then create enough of the pregnancy hormone to turn the test positive. Some conceptions shed before they attach. If so a pregnancy does not occur. If test is performed before the hormone level is high enough, it may be falsely negative but would be positive later.
