Maybe: If conception occurs it must move to the uterus & attach. The mass of cells must then create enough of the pregnancy hormone to turn the test positive. Some conceptions shed before they attach. If so a pregnancy does not occur. If test is performed before the hormone level is high enough, it may be falsely negative but would be positive later.
