Smoking DamagesLungs: Good day; As a long term asthmatic, any type of irritant, especially cigarettes will cause irreversible damage to the lungs. Sore lungs, poor nasal openings are sequella of chronic, long term smoking. Going forward you would be best served by visiting a pulmonologist to lessen or possibly eliminate these symptoms.
